Welcome to the SIC Olympic Capital

 
This challenge offers a unique collaborative and validation experience for international startups, scale-ups, SMEs, and large corporations that wish to develop new or existing innovative solutions addressing key challenges in sport.
 
Focused on SportTech, the programme is designed to source, test, and showcase impactful solutions through a structured, multi-phase journey combining innovation challenges, project based collaboration, real-world testing, and international visibility.
Your company will join our thriving Olympic capital innovation ecosystem of Federations, academics, R&D, Risk Capital, public support!
 
Programme Objectives
  • Identify innovative solutions addressing challenges common across multiple sports
  • Reinforce the Vaud region’s international impact in terms of sport innovation
  • Foster project based collaboration between industry, sport stakeholders, academia, and infrastructure
  • Support innovation validation through real-life testing environments
  • Attract collaborations and incorporations in Vaud
 
Eligibility conditions: If you have innovative sport applicable solutions that YOU WISH TO TE, and are interested in anchoring and testing it in the Canton of Vaud, Switzerland apply now to join the program!

Who can apply?

You are a startup, scale-up, SME, or large corporate from anywhere in the world, and would like to work or implement your project in the Canton of Vaud.
 
Projects must have a SportTech focus; proposals without a sport-related approach will not be considered.

Timeline

Application Phase
10 February 2026 - 29 May 2026
 
Register now, attend webinars on the Vaud ecosystem, set-up partnerships to finetune your showcase and submit your collaborative project in the region!

Selection Phase
30 May 2026 - 21 June 2026
 
All projects submitted by corporate applicants during the application phase will be evaluated by a panel of experts from 29th May to 21st June, based on predefined criteria.

The top 5 projects will be shortlisted by the expert panel, attributed a mentor for guidance and will be invited to participate in a 10-day on-site immersion programme in Lausanne leading to live testing in local international sport events.

The selected projects by the experts will be announced on 22nd June 2026.
Each corporate applicants will receive an announcement from the platform to let them know the final results.

Collaboration in Vaud
22 June 2026 - 4 July 2026
 
The Immersion in the Canton of Vaud phase offers selected corporations a unique opportunity to prepare their testing and collaborate with relevant partners form ou the Vaud ecosystem, Olympic Capital and a leading sport and innovation platforms in the heart of Europe.
 
This on-site experience is designed to finetune projects through collaborations with key stakeholders prepare for the testing and showcasing phases .

Testing Step
 
In this phase, the selected corporations have the opportunity to test and validate their innovative solutions in real-world sport environments.
 
The Testing Phase plays a critical role in bridging innovation and operational reality, further validating a solution.

Showcasing Phase
September 2026 - March 2027
 
During this phase, corporations have the opportunity to present their validated solutions at major sport events in the Canton of Vaud, taking place from mid-2026 to mid-2027. This stage provides a unique platform to showcase innovation in front of sport stakeholders, industry leaders, and an engaged audience.
